| 3: General Flying Progress Test (GFPT) training as a student pilot and after approximately 23 hours with an instructor (you will probably go solo in 12 to 14 hours- could be as little as 8) and 12 hours solo (pilot in command), the CFI will test you for the GFPT -a passenger carrying privilege- You can now take your friends for a flight to the training area and show off your new acquired skills. | |
| 4: Private Pilot Licence (PPL) the final place of training as a student pilot comes with approximately a further 22 hrs cross-country training. With our navigator techniques, you will find great satisfaction and no stress in knowing where you are at all time -not using radio navigation aids- the CFI will test you for your licence and you will join the ranks of some of well known pilots he has passed. Once you have gained the PPL, aircraft are available for hire, (you pay only the flying time), you and your friends can explore Australia, spend some time in the beautiful Flinders Ranges, Ayers Rock, Kakadu National Park etc. | |
| 5: Night Visual Flight Rules (VFR) This is an endorsement on your licence, allowing you to fly cross-country at night. It enables you to arrive at your destination after dark in good weather or to do a beautiful flight with your friends over Sydney Harbour, one of the best sights in the world. Training time is an extra 12 hrs approximately on top of PPL. | |
