Bill Whitworth, the CFI, has been training professional and recreational pilots for over 30 years, reaching a pre-eminent position in the general aviation industry. Bill was engaged as a flight instructor on the original Qantas Pilot Cadet scheme that has produced some of their best captains. Many of his former students also hold senior positions with airlines throughout the world, working with Cathay Pacific, Emirate, Malaysian, Singapore and Garuda Airlines. Currently, Bill's reputation in training excellence brings students to train in Australia from many parts of the globe.

At the non-commercial level, Bill, has successfully trained pilots of all ages, who had almost given up hope of achieving their aviation dreams. Some of these students have now achieved world fame with their skills. Bill's professionalism has attracted varying personalities to train with the school.
